Planting Seeds of Faith – My father always had a way with words, and the words he spoke this day was planting seeds of faith. 

My father planted seeds of faith in moments of anger. He stood his ground and refused to purchase the Bible and relieve my temporary burdens. Then he pointed me in the direction I needed to go to save my life. 

One night in a rage, my husband destroyed our wedding presents. The only wedding present he didn’t destroy an elegant family Bible.

Linda grew up in a dysfunctional family in Lake Luzerne, New York. As children, we suffered from neglect, child abuse, and sexual abuse.

As a result, Linda acquired a dysfunctional mindset and unhealthy patterns of behavior. She lacked the moral guidance needed for an abundant adult life.

Linda became pregnant and dropped out of school at the end of eleventh grade. Married within months of turning eighteen, She experienced domestic violence.

Open Letter to Parents

I wrote this sincere “Open Letter to Parents” back in 2014. At the time, I was putting the broken pieces (called life) back together. I was healing emotionally from child abuse and domestic violence, and spiritually from years of living in darkness with fear.

Dear Parents,

I’m mad as hell at you!

The life you prepared me for was full of turmoil, anguish, and pain.

It sucked!

You failed to do your Job as a parent. And I paid the price for your lack of good parenting skills.
