How to Afford Christmas with no Money

Last Updated January 2nd, 2019

The tree topper says it all; Bah humbug. Christmas can be overblown, particularly when you question how to afford Christmas with no money.

Christmas Tree

Over the years, I’ve become skilled at surviving Christmas with no money.

Planting Seeds of Faith – My father always had a way with words, and the words he spoke this day was planting seeds of faith.

My father planted seeds of faith in moments of anger. He stood his ground and refused to purchase the Bible and relieve my temporary burdens. Then he pointed me in the direction I needed to go to save my life.

One night in a rage, my husband destroyed our wedding presents. The only wedding present he didn’t destroy an elegant family Bible.

The Heart of Domestic Violence

Last Updated February 21st, 2019

The heart of Domestic Violence is the people we have become growing up or are going into the situation. It’s our past and current experiences in life reflected outward through our actions and reactions.

Its personal choices we have made or will make in life and two people coming together who are downtrodden in spirit.

I’m a 20+ year survivor of Domestic Violence. It took years to heal in mind and spirit. I praise God he never left nor forsaken me. God’s love and strength have seen me thru the toughest of times.
